iOS Photo Mover runs entirely on your PC. It reads photos and videos from an iPhone or iPad connected by USB and saves them to a folder you choose. We do not collect, receive, store or transmit any of your data. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and makes no network connections of its own.
The app reads the names, sizes, dates and contents of photos, videos, screenshots and edit files (.AAE) in the device's photo storage, using Windows Portable Devices. In move mode, and only if you turn copy-only mode off, it deletes originals from the device after their copies have been verified.
All of this stays on your PC under your control.
Information is used solely to copy (and, if you choose, move) your files, verify each copy, organise files into folders, avoid duplicates, show progress and write the transfer log.
We do not sell or share your data, because it never leaves your PC. If you obtain the app from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft processes data as part of distributing and updating the app under Microsoft's own privacy statement. If you contact us for support, the information you email us is used only to respond to your request.
Copied files and logs remain in your chosen folder until you delete them. Settings remain until you uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes the app; it does not remove your copied photos or logs.
Each copy is verified by size and SHA-256 checksum before an original is deleted. Protect your PC and device with a password or passcode, and keep backups of important photos.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
We may update this policy. The "Effective date" will change when we do.
