Auto-archive
Every ordinary chat you open or create is saved. Temporary and incognito chats are left alone. A one-click history import brings in the back catalogue, using the sign-in you already have. The copy stays even if you delete the chat on the site.
One folder tree
Nested folders across all three AIs, with drag and drop and an in-page “Move to folder” menu. Each chat keeps a source badge and a link back to the original.
Search in one box
Full-text search across titles and messages with Ctrl or Cmd+K. Filter by AI, folder and date.
Prompt library
Save prompts with {{variables}}. Type / in the chat box to insert one, on all three sites.
Export and backup
Markdown with Obsidian-ready frontmatter, and JSON. Pro adds bulk export and a scheduled backup to a folder on your computer, plus restore.

Your chats never leave your computer.
Chat text stays in IndexedDB on this computer. Backups are ordinary files in a folder you choose. Komos Solutions does not store your conversations, and the extension does not send them to us.
For ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, the archive keeps the title, the messages, the model name when the site sends one, the time, and a link back to the chat. An image or file is stored as a name, a type and an id. Any signed query string is removed, and the file itself is not downloaded. Temporary and incognito chats are not stored. If you later delete a chat on the site, the local copy stays.
Import reads history you can already see while you are signed in to that site. For Claude, the first organisation id from /api/organizations is used only to build the list address. The only call TidyThread makes to Komos Solutions, once checkout exists, is a licence check after you pay, through Stripe Managed Payments. Read the TidyThread privacy policy.

Questions
Do you store my chats?
No. Chat text stays in IndexedDB on your computer, and backup files sit on your computer. Komos Solutions does not receive the conversations. Temporary and incognito chats are not saved. If you delete a chat on ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, the copy in TidyThread remains.
Which assistants does it support?
ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, in desktop Chrome. The same features are on all three. Other assistants, and other browsers, are out of scope for the first release.
What happens when the free limits are reached?
Free keeps the 100 most recent chats, 3 folders and 10 prompts, and can export one chat as Markdown. The panel tells you how many older chats are waiting, for example “You have 412 more chats to search. Unlock Pro.”
How does the trial work?
Installing TidyThread starts 7 days of Pro on that computer. No card. The clock is stored locally. Paying does not depend on the trial, and when checkout exists it will unlock Pro immediately.
Who takes payment?
Stripe Managed Payments, with Stripe as the merchant of record, on Komos Solutions Ltd’s existing Stripe account. Stripe handles the tax. Komos Solutions does not receive your card number. Pro is £7.99 a month or £69 a year. Checkout is not open yet.
What is FOUNDING49?
A Stripe promotion code for the first 250 yearly buyers. It prices the first year at £49. The cap is 250 redemptions, and the following year is £69. It will be entered at checkout when Pro goes on sale. It is not active yet.
Can I export, and can I delete everything?
Yes. Free exports one chat as Markdown. Pro adds bulk Markdown and JSON, plus a scheduled zip of files you own. Uninstalling the extension removes its local database from the browser profile. Delete any backup files yourself. To leave the launch list, email hello@komossolutions.com.
