Download as PDF

This accessibility statement applies to the Komos Solutions Ltd website at www.komossolutions.com. It follows the format of the model statement used by UK public sector bodies. As a private company we are not legally required to publish it, but we follow the same standard because accessibility matters to us and to the organisations we work with.

This website is run by Komos Solutions Ltd. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or device settings
  • zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader

We have also made the website text as simple as possible to understand. AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

How accessible this website is

The company pages (home, services, public sector, about, compliance and trust, policies, contact and this statement) were rebuilt in November 2026 to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. We know some other parts of the website are not fully accessible:

  • some older product pages do not have a “skip to main content” link or a main landmark
  • some links on the TidyThread pages are shown by colour alone
  • older product pages load their navigation with JavaScript, so it may not appear if JavaScript is turned off
  • PDF versions of our policies and capability statement may not be fully accessible; each one has an HTML version on this website
  • some older pages that are no longer linked from the website have images without text alternatives

Technical information about this website's accessibility

Komos Solutions Ltd is committed to making its website accessible, in line with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018, which we follow voluntarily.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below. Our target is full WCAG 2.2 AA compliance.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

  • Older product pages (iOS Photo Mover, WinPatrolX, UK Data Tools and the Blind Bag Scanner privacy notice) do not provide a way to skip repeated navigation or a main landmark. This may fail WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.4.1 (Bypass blocks). We plan to move these pages onto the new templates.
  • Some links within paragraphs on the TidyThread pages are distinguished from the surrounding text by colour alone. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.1 (Use of colour).
  • Heading levels skip a level on the Blind Bag Scanner privacy notice. This may fail WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (Info and relationships).
  • Older pages that are no longer linked from the website but remain online because other sites link to them (for example, the ViziWizz pages) have images without text alternatives, links without accessible names and no page language. These fail WCAG 2.2 success criteria 1.1.1, 2.4.4, 3.1.1 and 4.1.2.
  • PDF documents are generated from our HTML pages and have not been fully tested with assistive technology. The HTML version of each document is the primary, accessible version.

The Second Sight product pages are published separately and have their own accessibility statement.

Disproportionate burden

We are not claiming disproportionate burden for any content.

Content that is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

Third-party websites we link to, such as app stores and the Apify platform, are not under our control.

What we are doing to improve accessibility

We are moving the remaining product pages onto the same accessible templates as the company pages, and we check new and changed pages with automated testing before they are published.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was prepared on 4 November 2026. It was last reviewed on 4 November 2026.

This website was last tested on 4 November 2026 by Komos Solutions Ltd. The company pages were tested with automated checks (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules) at desktop and mobile screen widths, together with manual checks of keyboard navigation, focus visibility, headings and form labels. Product pages were tested with the same automated checks.
